Lara Mason, M.A., C. Psych. Assoc.

Lara Mlaraason is a professional psychotherapist working with adolescents and adults. She provides individual therapy and assessment.

Lara’s practical work has evolved from employment in the social services sector working with families in crisis, to educational environments, to providing individual psychotherapy for adolescents and adults. She incorporates components from a range of models of psychotherapy. A psychodynamic approach is used for treatment of more pervasive long-standing challenges. When the focus is on resolving specific symptoms or problem areas, cognitive-behavioral modalities are typically more effective.
